2024 KY Legislative Update & What It Means for Your Business with Tom Underwood

July 30 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

$27.00 – $37.00

Join NAWBO Kentucky on July 30th in Lexington at Sedona Taphouse Palomar 11:30 – 1:00 pm and hear a non-partisan analysis of the 2024 legislative session from Tom Underwood, the leader of the small business caucus in Frankfort.  He also has some creative ideas about the 2025 session for business owners.

Ninety-nine percent of Kentucky businesses are small businesses.  Tom Underwood with the Rotunda Group has represented business in Frankfort for over 20 years.  He had the vision to form the Small Business Caucus in Frankfort over 20 years ago.  NAWBO has been a part of this group since its inception.

Tom considers business owners to be the heroes that make America work.   His lobbying successes include the enactment of a small business exemption from the Alternative Minimum Tax, a 100-percent state tax deduction for state residents who pay for their own health insurance and the lowering of workers’ compensation costs.

He’ll answer all of your questions, such as:

  • What happened in the 2024 Kentucky Legislative Session?
  • How does it affect my business?
  • Why is legislation important for your business?
  • What do I need to know for the upcoming 2025 Legislative Session?

Register now to join us for this must-attend event.

Lunch will be provided.
